Abandoned Devotion:
Bringing Life to Dry Bones

1. Repentance: Hearts of Stone becoming Hearts of Flesh

Hebrews 3:12 – “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.”

• Unbelief is the root of much apathy today. Confess and repent of the various manifestations of unbelief, apathy and passivity in your life and in your generation. (Amos 6:1) Ask the Lord who is both the Author and Finisher of our faith to increase our faith in Him, looking not to people or circumstances.

2. Wholeheartedness: No Bone Left Without Sinews and Breath

Stewardship

Read 1 Peter 4:10

We are called to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us in the gifts He has given as well as the mysteries of God. Since we have been told of the grace of God, we as message bearers must steward the message of God’s love, faithfully sharing with those who have not heard.

• Pray for strength to be good stewards, as often times it is hard to walk out God’s call on our lives.

• Pray for faithfulness in ministering the gifts which we have received, that we might be jars of clay who reflect our Maker and Creator.

Global Proclamation:
When Dry Bones Live, Then What?

1. Barriers to Seeing the Army Mobilized

Unforgiveness

• Unforgiveness wreaks havoc in the lives of those who harbor it in their heart. Pray for revelation of areas where there is unforgiveness. Ask God to pinpoint the precise situation, reason and purpose for the unforgiveness.

• Pray for reconciliation among those who harbor unforgiveness. Ask God that they would not let the resulting bitterness from unforgiveness keep them from clearly discerning God’s will and call.

2. Mobilizing the Army: Prayer for 21 Nations to be Mobilized

Philippines

Philippians 1:20 – “According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.”

• Ask God to give these students boldness to share the good news and not be ashamed. Pray for multitudes of these students to be filled with boldness that compels them to share.

• Pray for these students to be completely devoted to Christ, that whether God calls them to magnify Himself through life or death that they would do it all for the glory of God.

3. Possessing Our Inheritance: Prayer for Adopted People Groups

“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures an the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” – Revelation 5:8

-Pray for God to stir hearts to prayer for this people group. Ask God to fill up the bowls of heaven for this people group that saints around the world would be burdened in prayer for these people who have not heard the gospel. Pray for a mighty prayer movement to arise in this generation that would believe that God uses the prayers of His saints to bring about His purposes in the earth.
